About Pete’s Place

“Pete’s Place” runs 6:30-8pm on Mondays on community radio, WDBX in Carbondale, Illinois or on the web at wdbx.org.

The music policy is jazz of late 1950s to present, with a lot of 70s fusion and World-influence (Gato Barbieri, Abdullah Ibrahim) in addition to 50s and 60s hard bop and New Thing. Also modern jazz like The Bad Plus and Stanton Moore.

Hey, PJ. Monday’s show (11.14.11) was especially inspired. Hope you taped it to give as Christmas presents. Pat

I am wondering if I can listen to Pete’s Place online? Are you podcasting it?
